My Nickel Tour

My name is David Cordeiro - I was born in Brazil. I attended high school in New York and, soon thereafter, joined the U. S. Army. With aid from the U.S. Army, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology to earn my Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and Syracuse University to earn my Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and Juris Doctorate Degree in Law (where, in expanding my legal and cultural awareness, I was a visiting student at the University of Hong Kong and Vanderbilt University). After law school, I moved west and, for the most part, have lived in Silicon Valley. I have worked at a large law firm, for many companies, and for myself at my own law firm. I now live in San Ramon, California with my wife, three daughters, and son (who's away at college). We enjoy the hiking, biking, exploring, and traveling. 

I also have a passion to help service and build phenomenal companies. More particularly, I like providing legal services to help build and/or turn around companies to be more successful. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed being part of a team (whether as in-house or external counsel) that builds great companies, teams, strategies and technology. My style is to work hard and have fun at whatever I do (with a smile on my face and, as an amateur humorist, as much laughter as possible). 

For fun, in addition to the above family activities, I like to run, ski, bike (road and mountain), motorcycle, and write software code (e.g., I'm presently creating/writing my own AI agent). I recently bought a couple retro Ducati sport touring motorcycles from Minnesota, trucked them to California, and rebuilt them (ground up).
